The Down and Dirty: I hail from the great state of West Virginia and I’m a proud Mountaineer. It was there where I met and married the love of my life Jeff and now twenty years, two teenagers, and a sheepadoodle later we are truly living our dreams.

Today I’m a Colorado lovin’, hard working’ Real Estate Agent in Estes Park. I’m a sucker for a great ghost storie and National Parks. Secretly, I want a tattoo but I’m just plain chicken. Ask me of what and I’ll show you my Pinterest boards filled with ideas.

I’m passionate about my family, non-profit work, rock and roll, and the creative process surrounding just about anything. I’m business owner, and an enthusiastic connector who loves everything about social media, branding, and helping organizations craft compelling communication strategies. I’ve been known to ignore my family for days if I get sucked into a great fiction book. Right now I’m obsessed with crockpot cooking, creative writing, and the Real Estate. I am a recovering suburban mommy who recently left Colorado Springs after 17 years in order to live in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. I do find myself reverting back every now and then to some of my redneck upbringing. It’s all good though, because everyone knows, a country girl can survive.

Some really cool things I have been blessed to do in my life includes serving as an Executive Director for a nonprofit, being a national trainer for nonprofits across the country, and now I find myself several years into giving the Real Estate Industry everything I’ve got to help people list and find their home in Estes Park. (Wanna buy a house? A condo? A second home to get away from it all? Give me a call. I’m Co-Owner of  The Abel Team, Estes Park I’d love to help you take that next step.)

When I’m not working, which to be honest, I’m always “working” or at least thinking about it, I can be found hiking or out on a trail somewhere in CO with my family in our Jeep Rubicon. It is also quite possible you will see me with my family or serving local non-profits in Estes. Thanks for stopping by. I’ll be blogging about work, family, and my love of all things Colorado.  If I can serve you in any way, please send me a message. I love connecting with people.
